The 2023 edition of the International Conference on Graphics and Interaction – ICGI’2023 – will be held on November 2 and 3, 2023, as a joint organization between the Polytechnic University of Tomar (Instituto Politécnico de Tomar) and the Eurographics Portuguese Chapter (GPCG). The conference is expected to occur as an in-person event, but will be prepared to allow remote participation if necessary due to sanitary conditions.
It is with great pleasure that we invite you to submit contributions to ICGI 2023 and attend the event. The Scientific Program will include presentations of long and short papers, invited plenary presentations and a poster session.
Authors are invited to submit original manuscripts reporting scientific work, experiments, or applications to the conference. The official languages of the conference are English and Portuguese. Information regarding paper submission can be found in http://www.icgi2023.ipt.pt/for_submitters/conference_papers_submission/.
In addition to the usual conference track of full papers, short papers, and posters, this year we will have presentations of papers accepted in the special section of the Computers & Graphics journal. This special section has its own call for papers, which can be found in http://www.icgi2023.ipt.pt/for_submitters/cag_special_section_on_recent_advances_in_graphics_and_interaction/.
Accepted conference papers will appear in the ICGI 2023 digital proceedings (book with ISBN). Similar to previous ICGI editions, the necessary procedures for the provision of long papers in the IEEE Xplore Digital Library are being developed.
After the event, some of the best conference papers will be selected and their authors invited to submit (for free) an extended version to the Special Issue "Xtended or Mixed Reality (AR + VR): Technology and Applications" of Computers international journal. This special issue can be found in https://www.mdpi.com/journal/computers/special_issues/4RD9J46OZG
